I made the antenna for operation at the field. The antenna is very easy to build and shows high efficiency. My friends were amusing when they have known what kind of antenna I used to! Figure 1 shows design of the antenna.   

Mast of the antenna is a fishing pole. On the pole 11.72 meter length of the wire (including 1 meter length going to the coaxial cable) is wound. Horizontal part of the antenna has 28.6 meter length.

  The horizontal part was placed above counterpoise in 18.1 meter length. The end of the wire was tied to dry wood stick in two meter length. Another counterpoise placed opposite to the first one. Both counterpoises are placed straight away on the ground. It was used 2.5 mm wire (10 AWG) for antenna and counterpoises. I used 50- Ohm coaxial cable in 12.2 meter length to connect the antenna to transceiver.

I used the antenna in the field several times. Antenna was tested on the 80- and 40 meter bands. It is also works good.
